Joshua is a 5 foot man with short brown hair, bright blue eyes and a soft, slender build. Not very strong or athletic, and is deathly afraid of spiders. He was going for a nature hike one day and got lost in the woods.
He wandered around for over a day, desperately trying to find his way back out when he stumbled across Bertha in mid-transformation. Next thing he knew, he was being carried off over a broad furry shoulder.
He keeps a locket with a picture of his departed dog on him.
