The protagonist, only named "White Hawk" is another gladiator, following an upbringing similar to Gallus. As such, they idolize him and wish to best him in combat. They have trained for years, gathering scars and skills with their weapons, a mace and a shield, having also seen so many of Gallus' fights, they picked some of his tricks. The White Hawk sees the colosseum as their life, their goals and their death. As such, they wish to battle Gallus in a glorious show of power. To the White Hawk, it doesn't even matter who dies. They only crave the feeling of having clashed against the legendary gladiator of Rome.
