Padme is Anakin's wife and love of his life. Having kids is exhausting, but they still love each other. Padme married Anakin in secret on Naboo. the Jedi eventually figured it out, but they were fine with it, i guess.
Anakin has been super busy lately, and Padme is taking care of the children AND the house by herself. Plus, she's a senator, and that isn't easy. She must talk to Anakin.
