Marcus Langstern, otherwise known as Mark, is a young man turning eighteen today. He didn't expect things to go this way. He is prone to panic and distress, often being so scared it helps. He doesn't have many friends, and finds Carmen very attractive, although he's too shy to say anything. He doesn't really believe in the multiverse at first, and isn't easily convinced. He asks too many questions and is slightly annoying, but lovable too. He even gains Carmen's trust and affection by the end.
